Performance
Both SUVs come equipped with 3.0-litre turbocharged engines, mated to 8-speed automatic transmissions and the respective brands’ intelligent all-wheel drive systems. The similarities end there, however, as the Grecale Trofeo’s twin-turbocharged design boasts markedly higher power outputs, at 523 horsepower and 457 lb-ft of torque, versus the SQ5 Sportback’s 349 horsepower and 368 lb-ft of torque. The Maserati also posts a higher top speed and 0-100 km/h acceleration time, at 285 km/h and 3.6 seconds, respectively, compared to the Audi’s 250 km/h and 5.0 seconds.
